I normally do not post non dog items but I wanted to post this because if you need pet items this week there are a few ways to do it and get other items. Target has the individual cups of Quaker Oatmeal on sale for 1.02. If you buy five of them, in the same transaction, you get a 5.00 gift card.

Buy 5 Quaker Oatmeals at 1.02=5.10
Use the 1.00/1 printable (2)=2.00
Total Out of Pocket=3.10+tax

Now you cannot use this giftcard in the same transaction as the one you earn it. The system just does not allow it, no matter how much you want it to, it will not. Trust me.

Are you looking for new toys or perhaps a halloween costume for your pup or pet? Go here for a wide selection of items under 1.99. I've never shopped on this site before so use the standard inspection before ordering(read the fine print etc).


Target has a wide selection of rawhides and other dog items on clearance. I was able to pick up Dingo bones for $4.00 along with pig ears. Remember to check the expiration date on pet treats, they do have them.
Target also has a printable 1.00/2 Beggin Strips coupon here which can be combined with a manufacturer's coupon.
Buy 2 packs of Beggin Strips at 2.54(2)-1.00(Target coupon) and 1.00/2(man coup)=3.08 or 1.54 a pack. Not a bad deal if you don't have a Publix in your area and need some dog treats.

Deals around Town

This upcoming ad will have Dentastix as a b1/g1 deal. The regular shelf price is around 3.79. Combine this with the 2.50 printable coupon here or the ones found in the inserts. I think I have about 6 of these coupons. Not only will they be free but you will get overage!

Here is how it will work.
Buy 2 at 3.79-=3.79
use 2 (2.50)coupons=5.00
Make 1.21!

This will start Wednesday or Thursday depending on your ads start day. I can't wait!

Target: Pupperoni Deal-updated!

Go here and print the $1.00 off any 2 4.8-8oz Pupperoni dog treats Target coupon. Then go here and print the Pupperoni manufacturer's coupon. You should be able to print two. The coupon is for 2.00 off any one 4.8oz or larger package of Pupperoni dog snacks! Some are reporting that the coupon prints out for only 1.00 or 1.50. When I printed the coupon it was for 2.00.

Buy 2 Pupperoni Dog Treats(prices will vary by store) but at mine they are 2.54/bag.
2.49(2)=4.98-1.00(Target coupon)=3.98-4.00(Pupperoni coupon)=.08, or .04 each!

Plus, Target had a special package with 25% more free! If you get the coupon to print and it turns out to be a different value let me know.

Monthly Total Update

I broke my Target fast today. I sat out almost all of lent. The Gillette deal this week was too much for me to pass up!
While in Target I decided to check out how much the Pedigree Dentastix would be with my 2.50 coupon. They were on temporary price cut at my store for 3.39! I could only use one coupon during the transaction. My cashier was very insistent that she could only use one. I didn't fight it because there were lines and it's not hard to just have them void off the other one. Just a word of caution, if you are planning on doing this deal.
3.39-2.50 off coupon=.89

Then I bought another pack of the Dentastix at Walgreens to bring my total up enough so I could use my 3.50 RR. I'll just my total oop cost of 1.04 as the Dentastix cost.

Previous total 3.16+.89=4.05+1.04=5.09

Score some treats for your pup!

I went to Target today to check out the price on Purina Beggin Strips. I wanted to use my 3.00/1 coupon that I received when signing up for a free pet insurance quote. Go here for more information on how to get yours. At my Target Beggin Strips varieties were 2.24 a bag. Plus, I found two bags that had 1.00 off coupons on them.

Here is my transaction
5 bags of beggin strips @ 2.24 =11.20
-2(3.00) off coupons=5.20
-1 B1G1 coupon=2.242.96
-2(1.00) off coupons found on bags=.96
For 5 bags of beggin strips I only paid .96 out of pocket!

If you have more than 1 B1G1 coupon you could make these deal even sweeter. If you don't have any b1g1 coupons look for the 1.00 off coupons on the bags. I also found these at Kmart. So it's something the manufacter is putting on the bags, not the stores.

CVS
CVS stores have Christmas clearance at 90% off. They offered stocking stuffers of squeeky toys and I found 2 of them at my store today! I got the hamburger/fries combination and 1 shoe, for .20 each!

K-Mart
Some K-marts are doing double coupons this week up to 2.00/off.
Beggin Strips and T-Bonz are on sale 4/10.
Combine with the 1.00 coupon(10/12/08 SS) and get them for .50 a bag. Hurry in to do this deal as the coupon expires 1/12/09. Also in the coupon inserts this week you should find a b1/g1 free coupon. Use this along with the above deal to make it even better!
T-bonz dog treats combine with 1.50 off(10/19/08 SS) and get them for free!

Other purina dog treat coupons include from the 11/16/08 SS 1.50 off 2.

At my K-mart they also sell a sample of the mini busy bones(for toy dogs) they are usually 1.00. Use the 1.00/1 coupon from this week's insert to get it for free. They often come with a 1.00 off your next purchase of a busy bone! This is great because often they do not specify a size and you can use the 1.00 off coupon to buy another bag!
